Web Design
I provide web design services for everything from simple homepages to complex web applications. Whether you are new to the web, or just bringing your site up to speed with the latest trends online, I can help–for a fraction of the price you would find elsewhere.
My experience includes:
- Web 2.0 layouts using HTML and CSS
- JavaScript interfaces, including Ajax technology
- Interactive websites using CGI and PHP
- Database-driven sites built on mySQL
I require a $60 deposit for initial site design, plus $20/hr for additional work. A typical website job will be from $300 to $500.
Web Apps Portfolio
-
Hot Lunch -
a database-driven web application I designed for Asheville Christian
Academy to keep track of lunch orders. You can view a live
demo here; login to the Admin area with "demo" as both the name and password,
and feel free to change whatever you like.
-
ServantHeart Database -
a database I designed for a church in Virginia. The database allows church
members to search for volunteer positions matching their talents, and includes
an administrative backend for adding and editing jobs.
Web Sites Portfolio
- 4H Centennial Celebration - a website to commemorate the centennial of North Carolina 4H and to gather stories and photos from those touched by the organization. I did the initial design for the site before handing it over to officials within the 4H organization.
- NC State Catholic Campus Ministry - the website for the Catholic Campus Ministry of NC State. I administer the website, but a lot of other people help to keep the events, announcements, bulletins, and photos updated through a variety of admin tools.
-
Betting for Benson -
my band's homepage. Colorful and interactive, with a good sampling of some of my
scripts such as photo albums, media players, and shopping tools.
-
Cyrus Hall, Ltd. -
a professional consulting and search firm in Asheville, NC.
-
Second Dawn -
my previous band's homepage, a dynamic site built on CGI. A
handful of scripts control and update the content for News, Pictures, and
Song Lyrics, making the site strongly self-maintaining.
